Have you heard? Boomers! Irvine has opened a new irvine water park called Buccaneer Cove. a pirate's oasis full of splashing fun and 4 different water slides for all to enjoy. Buccaneer Cove is located off the 405 freeway at Culver within Boomers!. we took the kiddies there this weekend to check it out...what a fun place!
Buccaneer Cove is a giant play structure that has many different great water features. since it is pirate themed, beware of skeleton skulls and a pirate ship masts. you can even try sailing away at the helm. there are 3 bigger tube slides on the west side of Buccaneer Cove which are perfect for bigger kids and even adults. the kids thought they were very fun.
and then there is a smaller slide that even toddlers will enjoy and easily accessible for parents to help their children get "on" and "off" of. the area in front of the play structure is filled with water spouts and water structures, so even little ones can run around and have fun.
there are chairs and bathrooms located on the premises, and if you would like to rent a cabana, that is available to guests. there is also a grassy area next to the slides where you could have a picnic lunch. food is available for purchase in the Boomers! arcade area.
the kids had a blast checking out Buccaneer Cove, the perfect place to be on a hot summer day.

{disclosure: my family was invited guest of Boomers! to check out the new Buccaneer Cove. all thoughts and opinions are a gazillion times my own. }
