if you are looking for a magical Halloween experience, Mickey's Halloween Party is the place to be. the kiddies and i (and the hubby too) got to experience Mickey's Halloween Party last friday. we got to experience Halloween, Disney style......what a treat!
Mickey’s Halloween Party invites adults and children to dress up in costumes and trick-or-treat all over Disneyland Resort. you are also able to come to the park 3 hours prior to the party and enjoy everything the Resort has to offer. once Mickey’s Halloween Party begins, get ready for a night of Halloween Magic.
per the boys request, we began out by trick-or-treating. you get lots of candy....and they even have healthy treats! here's my big boy with my baby Yoda eating a non-healthy treat. what kind of parents give their baby candy ; )
we were able to sneak a peak of “Mickey’s Costume Party” cavalcade, which is performed twice nightly, and stopped by a few of the newly themed dance parties. we got to dance with some of our favorite Disney characters at the new “Piratepalooza” at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante and the popular “Buzz Lightyear’s Intergalactic Space Jam."
there were new character photo locations: you can meet Stormtroopers in Tomorrowland, Phineas & Ferb in Plaza Gardens & Duffy the Bear in his pumpkin costume. there are also additional photo locations featuring princesses, Disney villains and more Disney and Pixar pals.
of course my boys had to get their picture with the Stormtroopers....cheese!
our absolute favorite was the Halloween Screams Firework Spectacular. like no other. it is hosted by “Master of Scare-omonies” Jack Skellington, and is presented exclusively for guests of Mickey’s Halloween Party!
we had to go on the Halloween Christmas ride as my kiddies call it. but most people know it as the Haunted Mansion. all decked out as the Nightmare Before Christmas.
i tried to get the kiddies pictures by the big Mickey Pumpkin. no luck. they were busy having fun.
i can't believe that we stayed until closing....12:00 am. but it was just too much fun to leave. hmmmm...what kind of parents let their kiddies stay up till midnight!
