On our trip to Legoland last week, i was reminded that i had forgotten to post that The Flower Fields in Carlbad, California are now open. beautiful colors have arrived at one of my favorite places to go each year. we started going when my oldest was just a tot. mainly because he was in love with tractors, and going to the fields meant riding among the fragrant flowers in a giant tractor. he loved it.
now we continue to plan a trip every year. sometimes it's a weekend, where we hit a couple beaches, Legoland and The Flower Fields. it's a great little day trip for the whole family...you can adventure out along the trails of flowers, there is a picnic area, gift shop, yummy treats, playground and wagon rides. so if you have a chance to go this year, it could be fun.
The Flower Field Season is open:
March 1st through May 13th 2012
Hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
$11 adults, $10 seniors, $6 children 3-10
wagon rides are $5
